  2. If I heard the warning at my house I would'nt do anything because we live on an averagely high hill. And I don't live too close to the sea anyway.
If I was in christchurch or near the sea when I hear the warning I'd most definitly stop what I was doing and go home because there'd have to be one ginormous wave to have any effect out were I live.
But if I was on holiday somewhere near the coastline I'd definitly head inland.

  3. If there was a realy big wave it might hit where i live. I heard the warnings yesterday because my grandad told me.
I would freak out if i lived near the water or near the beach and if i did i would get my phone (to contact family), pets, food, warm clothes, water, a first aid kit and my faviourate things in my room that are portable and i would evacuate to higher ground.

  5. Soon as i live not very close to any sea i would probably ignore the warning but if i lived rather close to the oceans edge I would evacuate too higher ground. I would bring my pets, firstaid kit, my phone, canned food(can opener) bottled water, batterys, a blanket, a torch, matches and other emergancy items. But if it was possible i would pack my room up in a sack and take that with me. But its not :(

  6. soon as my family dont live very close to the sea it wouldnt affect us most likely. but if it was to hit us we would get bottled water, canned food, comfort, can opener, torchs, matches, first aid kit, and probably a craft knife and pets and then drive to higher ground like some where like the ashley forest.

  7. My family and I wouldn't have done anything because we live far inland but if we lived close to the sea we would pack canned food and blankets, a can opener, torch, celephone, bottled water, batteries and other emergency items. We would have been really calm about it and we would have driven further inland.

  10. If we were at the beach we would go to higher ground as soon as we heard the warning.
As we don't live near the beach the water shouldn't reach us.

  13. We would probably drive to the gondola, go up it and look out to all the beaches and watch the tsunami, because we normally like to watch exciting things or things that don't happen normally but still want to be safe.

  14. My family and I don't live close enough to a beach for the tsunami to really affect us, but if we did we would take, a first aid kit, sleeping bag, pillows, canned food, a can opener, our little pony dimples =), our dalmation kelly, torches, and all of mum and dads really important documents like passports and insurance papers (and I'd probably bring along a lot of books!!)

  26. As I live inland I would not take much action to a tsunami, but if I were closer to the coast I would, probably depending on what coast I was on, move inland.
It would be a good idea to keep extra food and water at home and listen to the radio for any
    updates.

  27. If there were warnings of a tsunami I wouldn't go to the beach or near the sea. If the warnings continued I would get supplies such as food and go to the hills.

  28. I wouldn't go to the beach either. My family has a supply kit for events like this. Though, I doubt the tsunami would even reach me.

  29. Hmmm... We live quite close to the beach and we didnt do anything about it because we didnt think it would come this far and it didnt :) But if we were closer i would get my pets, food, phone and any photos and importent things in my room. And go to higher ground!
