Should Andy Hayden keep his job as ambassador for the rugby world cup after making comments about the Crusaders racial based policy on picking Maori and Pacifica players?

i think he should still ref or dp what he wants to do because its his chiose
ReplyDeletePS that was by Rhiannon
ReplyDeleteI think that he should because he knows what he's doing and just made a mistake and used the wrong word, everyone's entitled to an opinion and he can say what he likes about the crusaders it doesn't change the fact it's not true.
ReplyDeleteLucy =)
My thoughts are sorta 50/50 because what he said was not acceptable and he would be doing public speaking so it wouldnt make NZ or him look good in any way.
ReplyDeleteBut he does no what he is talking about and is a very famous great rugby player so that is why im
50/50
Terri :) Hehe
Im 50/50 because he knows what he is talking about and is a great rugby but also what he said is unacceptable he would be doing alot of public speaking so that would'nt make NZ look good if he used the same language as he just did.
ReplyDeleteTerri :) Hehe
i dont think he should be an ambassador if he is going to be racist but if he dose not use words like that he can be an ambassador but he must think about what he is going to say before he says it.
ReplyDeleteMitchel
I'm also 50/50 because he shouldnt be alowed to say things like that and get away with it especially because it was a racist comment.
ReplyDeletebut it was probably just a mistake so he should just think what he is going to say next time.

i feel he shouldnt keep his job because the remarks he made were uncalled for and showed racism. He didn't have any proof also to back his claim.
ReplyDelete:) LARA (: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think he shouldn't because what he said is racist and i think if he was a 'darky' im sure he wouldn't want to be called that.
ReplyDeleteits like the white people using the n word.i think he would deserve to be banned from his job of the embasador of rugby...
I think he shouldnt because he is racist. Because i think he shouldnt of called a diffrent colour skin to him a *darky*. It could affend other diffrent skin coloured people.
ReplyDelete:)Erin:)
i think he should keep his job because he has to be the best lock of all time but thats not the point. the main thing is he appologised and he accepted that what he said was wrong and racist. so yea i think he should keep his job
ReplyDeletei think that he should still bethe ammbasider because he knows what hes talking about and hes been prepered for the job he shoulg not have siad what he did say but it could have been alot worse he is god at what he does and he just made a mistakeand every one makes mistakes he was racist at this time but i have read articalls in the paper wrighten by maori and pacificers who know andy hayden as a friend and they say he is not a racist person and he did speak the truth the crusaders do only have three pacific islanders and four maori people so he was telling the truth
ReplyDeleteby matt a shout out to all my peeps
joe said i think andrew haden shouldn't be the rugby world cup ambassador because the crusaders are more sucessful because there are more pakiha people than maori, pasific islanders thats rubbish what about mai nonu he is pasific and he is probably proud to be one. He is racist refures maori or pacific islanders darkies or blackies he does not deserve to be the rugby world cup ambassador.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure. It would be kind of mean to make him lose his job, but you can't go round saying things like that because it's very racist. I mean, is this how we want other countries to think about us?
ReplyDelete~Mead~
I don't think he should be an ambassador for the rugby world cup if he makes racist comments like that i don't think he deserves to be repersenting us.
ReplyDeletearoha!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I think he should keep his job because he did apologise for saying the racist comment and he probably didn't mean to say it, it probably just slipped out, I do think he should watch what he is saying next time
ReplyDeleteFROM ROSE :) :)
I think he should keep his job as ambassador for the rugby world cup even though he has made a racist comment on live tv. It was about the crusaders but not about the rugby world cup so it had really nothing to do with his job. And also he apologised for his comments.
ReplyDeleteFelicity :)
I think he should keep his job if he wants it. He probably didnt mean it like that anyway. So he should still get the job>
ReplyDeletegeorgie
no i dnt think he should keep his job! hes supposed to be repesenting newzealand not making raciste remakes against it! and part of being an abbasitor is public speaking which he oviously needs practise on.
ReplyDeleteps by katie tee hee!
ReplyDeleteNo. They should not let him keep his job because he was raceist toward the Maori and the Pacific players.
